Hurricane Dorian has been categorized as a level 4 and has been the strongest storm this year. Moving along the pathway to Bahamas, reports are saying it will be a deadly storm for the island.
There have been quite a few cruises that are lingering in the waters, going in circles as they are unable to dock as the ports are closed.
Airlines have cancelled their flights to the Bahamas due to the increased crosswind speeds. CNN reported delays and cancellations by some of the largest US airlines
American has canceled 113 flights.
Southwest has canceled 148 flights.
Delta has canceled 52.
United has canceled 33.
It has also been reported that hospitals & nursing homes in Florida have evacuated. There have been reports of casualties in Bahamas, but no one can confirm at this time. There will be additional evacuation centers that will be opened in Florida. Call the 2-1-1 hotline.
