ITINERARY
Day 1
Arriving to the vibrant city of Toronto, get settled in at your sleek accommodation before heading out for a unique dining experience. Reinventing fusion cuisine, this Chinese-Caribbean restaurant is raved by food critics and locals alike as 'one of Toronto’s essential restaurants’ to dine.
Day 2
Start your day early with a signature homemade style breakfast at an All-American old fashioned 70’s inspired diner. This ma and pa diner offers plentiful dishes with just as great service. A hidden gem located in the Cabbagetown district – the town’s history began with Irish immigrants migrating before affluent professionals gentrified the neighbourhood. Now home to musicians, artists and journalists, many are affiliated with the University of Toronto. After a hearty breakfast, it is time to explore the art and celebrated landmarks that Toronto has to offer.
Starting in the Annex (approximately 20 mins away by public transit or 25 mins walking) is home to plenty of uniquely Torontonian style of house that was built for the city's elite in the late nineteenth century. As the wealthy moved away from the neighborhood, many of the houses were thus subdivided into apartments. Located in one of Toronto’s oldest and most prominent neighborhoods, we’ll inspire wonder at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), which is one of the largest museums in North America and the largest in Canada. It attracts more than one million visitors every year, making the ROM the most-visited museum in Canada. With more than 6,000,000 items and 40 galleries, the museum's diverse collections of world culture and natural history contribute to its international reputation. The museum contains notable collections of dinosaurs, minerals and meteorites, Near Eastern and African art, art of East Asia, European history and Canadian history. It houses the world's largest collection of fossils from the Burgess Shale with more than 150,000 specimens.
After the ROM, head over to see the unusual and unique sightings at The Bata Shoe Museum (BSM). A personal passion that grew into an internationally acclaimed collection, the museum’s founder, Sonja Bata built one of the world’s finest collections and North America’s foremost shoe museum. Housed in architect Raymond Moriyama’s iconic, award-winning building, BSM regularly displays over a thousand shoes and related artifacts, chosen from a collection of over 13,000 objects.
While still in the Annex district, you have the option of tantalizing your taste buds at a tucked away Ukrainian café that serves a delicious lunch menu and boasts on their desserts. With plenty of food options to choose from, perhaps you would prefer to explore the area at your own leisure for the rest of the afternoon. Feel free to explore and excite your palate. You may also choose to visit one of Toronto’s most eclectic neighborhoods for lunch in the Kensington Market District. The walkable bohemian neighbourhood draws artists and tourists to its indie shops, vintage boutiques, and artistic spaces.
Then end off the day with a night on the town. An approximate 20-minute streetcar ride from the downtown core, head over to the Distillery District, located east of downtown. Walk the pedestrian-only streets lined with cafés, restaurants, and shops housed within heritage buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery. Designated as a National Historic Site, the Distillery District has been protected under the Ontario Heritage Act since 1976. Recognized by National Geographic magazine as a "top pick" in Canada for travellers, the district is intentionally unique. Reopened to the public in 2003, the new owners refused to lease any of the retail and restaurant space to chains or franchises, and accordingly, the majority of the buildings are occupied with one-of-a-kind boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, jewellery stores, cafés, and coffeehouses, including a well-known microbrewery, the Mill Street Brewery.
For dinner, take in delicious Mexican cuisine while surrounded by an ambiance of oversized folk- art inspired chandeliers and a massive mural by Oscar Flores that's lit with black lights so that the colours glow and vibrate. Glowing sugar skulls peak out from various nooks in the Distillery.

Day 3
There are few things in life that bring as much pleasure as waking up to the savory smell of breakfast. Enjoy private dining from your kitchen with your very own chef. Ready to satisfy any craving of your palate, savour fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Prefer to dine out instead? Visit a bistro-style café for freshly baked pastries from a renowned chef.
Enough city life – after breakfast, you will then be flown away to the Niagara Region. Take in the stunning views of the Niagara Falls, shared between Upstate New York and Canada. If you’ve come to experience the wine, you’ll find plenty to sample with a wine tour and lunch.
Once you’ve had your fill of wine, you’ll head back to the city to unwind and relax. Later take in the memorable panoramic views of the city with a dining experience in the King West neighborhood. Sitting in the center of the city’s entertainment and fashion district, capture the moment while taking in the views of the CN Tower to seal your busy Memorial Day.

Day 4
Wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast in a café-inspired restaurant in the Upper Jarvis district. Head over to one of the world’s most captivating landmarks – the CN Tower. A signature icon of Toronto’s skyline, head straight to the top for the best view of The 6ix.
Just steps away, immerse yourself in the underwater adventure of the Ripley’s Aquarium. Canada’s largest indoor aquarium features more than 20,000 exotic sea and freshwater specimens from more than 450 species or explore the site that Canadians consider to be the birthplace of Hockey at The Hockey Hall of Fame. Take pictures of the National Hockey League (NHL) trophies and memorabilia.
From here, you’ll work up quite an appetite. No visit to Canada is complete without trying poutine - the popular Canadian dish of fries, cheese, and gravy. Head over to one of the best poutinerie’s in the city and sample this simple and mouth-watering dish or head to the Old Toronto district, at a Traditional Italian restaurant that serves a lunch menu, in a striking art deco–style space. If you like a good design with high ceilings and music, then this is a great place to visit.
The remainder of the day is yours to relish as you please. Head over to the bustling area of Yonge and Dundas Square. Take in the towering billboards and street performers as you head into the Eaton Center mall for some shopping.
For dinner, get a panoramic look at the city with views from the top of the CN Tower. The award-winning eatery’s market-fresh cuisine and unbeatable views are the best way to end the night.

Day 5
Begin your morning in the Summerhill District, which was named after 'Summer Hill' house, built in 1842 by Canadian transportation baron Charles Thompson. Much of the area was once part of the Thompson estate but was subdivided by his heirs in the 1880s. In the 1880s, the North Toronto Railway Station was established on Yonge Street and the neighbourhood of Summerhill quickly developed around it. The Railway station was rebuilt in honour of a visit by the Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII) in 1916.
Have breakfast in a café housed in a two-story Victorian Home. Taken over in 2014, the home was initially a dry-cleaners, and has now been re-modeled with an upstairs cafe for those looking to hide away in a quiet place.
Take a 25 min stroll or hop on the newly designed Streetcars, to Casa Loma, the only castle left in the city. Named after the renowned Gothic Revival hilltop castle and its gardens, the residence was owned by a financier. Constructed from 1911 to 1914, the castle sits at an elevation of 140 metres (460 ft.) above sea level.
After you explore the historic house, return to the downtown core and visit a café for lunch, that boasts its market style restaurant. With a dedication to freshness, homemade recipes and on-the-spot preparation of seasonal and regional products, it offers an experience for all of your senses.
