WEEKLY NEWS | Brazil offering Visa Free Entry as of June 2019
On March 18th 2019, the Brazilian Government made the announcement that as of June 17th 2019, Brazil will allow citizens from Australia, Canada, Japan & The United States to enter without a Visa.
Back in January 2018, these countries were added to the existing e-visa system, which requires Citizens of the above aforementioned countries to visit a visa center in their own country to apply and receive a tourist visa to travel to Brazil. This is to increase the visitation to this country, and allow for easy access to do so. It is believed that these countries will help with the tourism in Brazil and thus they are taking this strategic step forward as of June. This will allow for visitors to stay for 90 days from the date of the first entry into the country, provided that it does not exceed 180 days every 12 months which is counted from the date of the first entry into the country.
Will you decide to visit Brazil now that the e-visa will no longer be a requirement to enter?
