TRAVEL TIPS | How to travel safely for the holidays
We know that as Thanksgiving and Christmas approaches, it is the time of year where everyone likes to gather with friends and family, or take a much needed vacation.
With COVID-19 and being on lockdown for months, and the numbers increasing after the summer months, surveys that have been taking polls on travelers perspectives have indicated people are more inclined to not travel due to their safety.
With that in mind, flying is currently still the safest mode of transportation, so how can you maintain your safe travels during the holidays?
Firstly, book your trip at the refundable rates or free cancellation.
Bring your own cleaning supplies
Limit your interactions with hotel staff, such as by reducing their presence in your room when it comes to housekeeping
Practicing physical distancing is more imperative now from people and respecting the boundaries.
Book accommodations outside the city, such as in the suburbs where it is less congested of people
Be vigilant about the circumstances surrounding the place you are traveling to.
Currently, prices are more affordable than in previous years under the circumstances, including other travel related expenses.
